Mail lady just brought me this 7 inch model 1. I've been lusting after one for a good while, it's just such a classic. Here it is with a 3 inch model 10 and a Triathlete.
Stainless blade and nickel silver guard so there is no brass to polish.

Absolutely gorgeous - that calls for a celebration. Actually, all three are pretty sweet.

The fit and finish were first rate. There was a tiny spot of the handle where a couple of the leather rings met where I darken it a little with some shoe polish. That was just me being fussy over a brand new knife though.

The 1-7. Mail lady doesn't generate much lust. She is even older than me if you can believe that and besides her husband drives the mail jeep.

I'v been carrying the mdl 10 lately but before that the Triathlete got a lot of carry time. I rigged up a split ring on a webbing key carry thingamabob. Works pretty good. Like a swinger style sheath. I'll bet you will really like yours
