New Model Emerson???

I read that Mr Emerson had a new model on display at the New York Knife Show. Does anyone have any further info? A photo?
 
I was there, and didnt notice anything new...

Unless i missed it. anyone else?
 
Maybe Ernie would like to hear some new ideas for 2008---like not coating the blades!! YEAH, that might happen. Doesn't hurt to throw sumptin out there.

According to the newsletter it was one of, if not THE original custom Emerson. 3.5" V-grind spear point if I remember correctly.
 
its the new ECA knife of the yr, i dont know that it'll be a production model and to buy it ya gotta be a ECA member, FWIW none of the other ECA/KoY went into production, i suppose the 1st one was the closest the zero bevel P-Tac, ZBG blade and satin finish, but it wasnt a production, not really, i am waiting to see how much they are gonna cost, what with the bolsters and all.

edited to add/i was thinking of the A131, which is the '07 ECA KoY, i saw a list and it didnt have a A100 on it, i will keep looking though lol.

edited to add again lol/ well i did find something on the A100, i saw a pic of a proto with pearll handles, a very very nice knife, it does look about like a viper FWIW. i like the handles on the viper a lot, though i have never handled a viper i do own a couple of I&I tantos which have the same handle as a viper, the A100 does look like a winner to me, i wonder if they will be waved, the proto i saw was not IIRC, i hope not it would ruin the lines imho.
 
Nice and simple. I agree---Wave it and frame-lock it . Then do a chisel tanto with a limited 2nd run.

Yea me too. Its a relatively big blade. Its just a touch under the size of an commander. A wave would probably make opening this one a bit easier. But its emersons design. I will still get one wave or no wave. I really like how pocket knifey this one looks.
 
That's one sweet-looking knife! I'm getting one when they are available. My only changes would be a silver blade.
 
In addition to the production A-100, there is going to be the Horseman Knife - Mini CQC-8.

There is also going to be a new knife called The Bushman. It has a Commander handle with a blade very similar to the CQC-13.

Anything with a commander handle is gonna be awesome :D

you guys are killing me! Now I want more Emersons
 
I like it! The handle looks kind of like the CQC-7, simple. I probably won't get one, my Super CQC-7s do everything that could and more.
