Big folder ! 5.5 inch blade D2 mod!

Thanks to Mike Lamprey for his permission to use, and his help on the thumb stud arrangment. Mike and I are in the middle of two OTHER collaborations at this time.

That is simply beautiful!
I know I probably can't afford one of these custom works, but maybe we can look forward to a custom collaboration version with a production company in the future? This is one gorgeous piece.

Out of curiosity though, how much would it be to have one of these made with a blade just a hair(1/8" or so) under 5.5"?

I know I shouldn't ask but I have to know. How much and how long a wait?

Thanks!

So I guess I don't have to keep the info you emailed me secret any more, hey?
This is a beautiful knife Darrel, and after I get my wood inlay Sebenza, I think I am going to order one. That should be in about two months. I hope I won't have to wait to long , but I think you are going to be very busy building this knife. I don't want to see you with two year backlogs like some makers, but do wish you the greatest success.

Beautiful Knife! D2 Blade, and it's a frame lock.

I like the clip location for a low ride in the pocket. And of course the very functional guard, which could have possibilties as an alternate way of deploying the blade.

I think you've got a winner!
