Just finished up the first prototype of one of my new "Ness-Mac" models. This one got it's name from my buddy Daniel Fairly, thanks Dan!!:D This is the Bowie Ness-Mac, one of two new designs that are my interpretation of a Nessmuk style blade. Not to be confused with a true Nessmuk;)

This one is ground from .180" D2 tool steel heat treated to 60-61RC, flat ground with a swedge, satin bevels and mill scale flats. Handle is lightning strike carbon fiber with a thick toxic green G-10 liner. Still needs sharpening and some sheath work.

Thanks for looking! I think I'll be making some more of these. Have a couple of each design ground out and heat treated, so more to come. Hope you all like 'em.

Looking great as always Buddy! I would have called it the "MacNess Monster", but Ness-Mac works ;)
Nice work on that Clip point

Man, that handle is just off the damn hook. I love that knife!

"MacNess Monster" - that's funny. I agree. That should be the new name.

Jonny- I like this one a lot. I like what you've been doing with your laminate handles, though the toxic green isn't my cup of tea. But that's just a personal preference thing.

I like the blade shape and this is by far my favorite handle shape you've done. The blade and handle blend together nicely with great lines. Good work.
