This is one of the new models coming from JK Handmade Knives, the Sauk Trail (name inspired by B JACKSON). This one will be available next Friday, without a sheath. They can also be ordered for May delivery.

Sauk Trail $190 + $8 shipping, including leather pouch style sheath

8 1/2" overall
4 1/4" blade
1/8" thick O1 steel with textured flats
Contoured handle

That is a very nice design, looks like it will fill the hand nicely and well balanced. Going to start saving up now because I see one of these in my future.
 
Sauk Trail, for many years a 400 mile long foot path from Detroit, Michigan to Rock Island, Illinois on the Mississippi River. Reputed to follow an ancient mastadon migration route. Now mostly blacktopped roadway. It passes only a few miles from where John and I both live. A lovely looking knife!

In the mid 1830's they started Detroit to Chicago stagecoach run that followed a good part of this original trail.

And yes, it's a lovely knife!
