Its 10.5" long. 5" handle. This one is 3/16 thick, and its the thickest blade I've ever done. They're going to be 5/32" thick usually, but I may ocasionally do a few in the thicker steel. The front pin is a SS corby bolt. The handle is Goncalo Alves (maybe my favorite wood) and Osage with a red liner. This is my favorite knife I make. I made this one for me so I can do some testing. I even spent a bit of time hand rubbing the blade.

Let me be the first here to say that this is one FANTASTIC KNIFE! The combination of wood is really good looking, though I'd prefer a different liner - black maybe? But that's just my thing for black liners. Very nice knife!

It's a real beauty, very nice sleek lines.
The wood combination is very nice.
I like your blackwood/osage edc most, but wonder how a blackwood/bloodwood combination would look.;)

Thanks guys.

Thats in interesting idea. I've got some Paduk, which is very close to bloodwood. Paduk and something dark is a definite possibility.

love the multi-wood concept, not big on red liners, maybe nickle silver, white or black. but that is one beautiful design, very simple yet has nice contour and that touch of custom maker artistry

Thank you very much Gentlemen. I almost always pair up red liners with Osage. Or blue. But I have some black too. I'll give that a shot also.

Great looking convex grind! And is that a zero edge I see ;) Looks great. I dig your laminated wood handles.

Very close to a zero edge. But with a slight convex microbevel. I'm keeping this one and I plan to do some rough testing with her.

great job!! I like using different steel thickness myself. I have even made 1" blades from 3/16" stock!! JUst grind em thing and they work well :)

As I've said before: my complement's to the chef.

Great looking all purpose design with your signature handle. BEAUTY :)

I'll take it... ;)

I really like this one. Let us know how the testing goes and please post up some pics.

This would be a great compliment knife to my Ironwood Nessy you made me a while back... just say'n :D
