Thanks Keith! I appreciate you tking time to post I love the green wood but its like a box of chocolates and I never know what's on the inside of the blocks I purchase. I prefer to saw the block and get it on the knife the same day so its always exciting for me to see what's waiting inside.I shoot traditional archery and have my tradtional bows hand built by a bowyer in Idaho.I have one Maple Recurve that is green and I love it. Green is easier on traditionalist eyes than some of the other colors
