In case anyone is interested, I have seen a few of the new Moore Maker knives made by Bear & Son on Ebay - smooth yellow bone trapper and mini trapper and smooth red bone single blade peanut - all in polished 1095 carbon steel. Just do a search for Moore Maker and you will find them. They are not as yet listed on Moore Maker's web site. Bear & son is evidently filling the void left by the demise of Camillus.

I think I saw a couple of the Bear and Sons versions on the Moore Maker site. I think they are Bear because they just have one pin in the scales, just like every Bear trapper I've ever seen. All of the other Moore Maker trappers made by Camillus and Queen have three pins. That red bone peanut just has one pin, too.

I bought a Keen Kutter trapper a couple of years ago made by Bear and Sons, and it just has one pin in the scales.

Yes you are correct - I see that MM does have some on their site now. Reasonable prices and 1095 steel. I do not believe that Bear has ever made knives in 1095 before.
