Just received my Model 2300 Stockman in Buffalo Horn from Mooremaker.
Here's the link for the knife.
I've had a few Mooremakers over the past few years, but this is definitely the nicest one.

It's the perfect size (3 1/2") for slipping into the pocket of my Dockers at the office; and the rounded bolsters are very pocket friendly. Fit and finish are first rate. The only minor quibbles are that the print on the shield could be a little deeper, and the back springs could've been finished a little smoother. Other than that, it's a beaut! No blade rub, excellent spring tension on all 3 blades, no wiggle of any blade in the open position, the horn is finished smooth and shiny (pix don't do it justice), and the shape of the knife is such that the sharp edges of the tangs are hidden. This is one slim profile knife, with everything tucked in. There's even a little cutout on the back of the knife (can just make it out in the pic) to get your thumbnail into the nick of the spey blade. And there's a little indentation in the front liner to ease access to the nick in the main blade. A really well thought out and compact design. And, get this, all three blades were sharp out of the box.

I also have the 5302 Stockman (4 1/4") which is a brute of a pocket knife. Definitely too big for dockers, but it fits perfectly into my Levis. And it's a real workhorse. I'm also thinking of getting the mid sized stockman in Buffalo Horn, 2301 which is 3 7/8" so I'll have a size for every occasion :)

All in all, I'm very satisfied with this knife, and every Mooremaker I've owned.

Enjoy,
Lenny

Thanks for the info. The blades look like they were sharpened on a slack belt. What do you think, Lenny?

No, just regular V grinds.
Even though they were sharp out of the box, I touched them up on the Sharpmaker.
Boy does this steel take a wicked sharp edge.
I don't expect the edges to last long, but at least the steel is easy to sharpen.

It's a great knife--I have the 3 7/8" model. It's also a comfortable carry in pockets, easy to sharpen, and I think you will find it holds an edge for quite a while. They also make a big trapper model in the buffalo horn, the only problem is that it doesn't have a lock on the blades. I like the big stockman that they make in the bone handle (model 5302) but you pretty much need a small sheath to carry them in. Those square bolsters and the way that the blade tangs stick up over the handle in the closed position will really do a number on your pockets.
