New Mora....am I just slow ?

That's a pretty nifty collab IMO. I would try one if they offered them in more "neutral" colors. I'm no bushcrafter or survival expert by any means but I could see this knife fiting well in a BOB or woods bumming kit of some sort.

I think it's a great idea but especially for folks like you pitdog who use there firesteel a lot. once it starts wearing out then your kinda screwed. someone posted this up a couple weeks ago also I believe.

First I've seen of it. Interesting, but not enough for me to want one -- mostly because of what appears to be a weird grind on the blade.

It's a neat idea that'll probably sell well thanks to LMF's wide US distribution. It's just not designed to be marketed towards us guys, but rather the mass consumer. Note the varied grind though! Interesting.

Hell yeah,
a colorful, sheeple friendly knive, from Sandvik steel with a firesteel built in?
Can't see anything bad with that!

The grind is particulary interesting!
Looks like they thinnes out the scandi-grind a little at the slicing point for food prep and other slicing tasks.

Looks good to me!

In PayetteRuckers post there also was a video in which it looked like the firesteel was very easy to undo, that put me off a little bit. Could well be that this was only the case for the knife used in the video though. Looking forward to read a review. :)

Yeah it did look easily undone--but it also looked like that knife had been used as a demo for quite a while and the retention was probably pretty worn. Also it may have been a prototype and the retention on finished models will be better.

I didn't notice the different grinds on it. Interesting. I hope this knife makes it into REI type stores. I would rather see people buying these instead of the POS Gerbers they sell.

Thanks for the heads up. This one actually looks useful. Wouldn't hurt to have one or two in blaze orange tucked away somewhere.

I like that idea , depending on price , Im thinking seriously of grabbing a few . Never hurts to have an extra back up
