Some of you guys might already know that Morakniv released the Pro C and Pro S, alongside their new Basic models, a couple of weeks ago now. I got a Pro S a few days ago and am loving it :)

Looked at their website again just now and they have added quite a number of new models - including another Robust model. The new handle is fantastic and I believe the tang to be equivalent to the old 511 so this could be a seriously good knife. I wonder what the price point will be...

The new Robust doesn't seem to have a new name, so I'm guessing it is replacing the old one? If anyone finds one at an approved blade forum dealer please let me know

Nice - they basically updated the old Craftsman. I have an old Mora 760 MG that is one of my favorites. I'll most likely pick up the new Robust or Pro C.

Up,......

Mora has been making fantastic knives for long enough that I'm noticing they are fetching more money than they used to with the Classic or Clippers say. It's a common recommendation what someone wants an inexpensive purchase, but a great quality item. Buy now.

I only paid £8 for my Pro S, and the Pro C was a bit cheaper again. I expect only the Robust will be more expensive.

Curious how far the tang goes into the handle on these? One of the complaints about the old Craftsman series was the partial tang.

Anyone Bladeforum dealers stocking these yet?

My thoughts exactly. I've used some of the partial tang models without issues, but I'd rather have a full tang (which is why I like some of the classic wood handled models so much).

I'll be stocking them as soon as one of my sources has them available. As far as I can tell they haven't landed 'State-side yet. I believe the tangs are as long as on the Companions.

Good to know 42, I'll keep checking your site for them.

I'm not worried if it's a partial tang or not - I batoned a Mora Craftsman just to prove technique can be more important than construction. I just recalled how Mora had beefed up the tangs on the Companion line and assumed they did the same on these.
