New Moras:Allround Carbon & Bushcraft models

That's great. I got one of the stainless Allrounds for my life jacket and really like it. The sheath is a big improvement over past Mora sheaths.

Yes indeedy! I like those! The Allround is a great knife, in carbon, it should be unstoppable. Those who mourn the passing of the 510 should take heart!

I looked on ragweedforge.com and didn't see these listed yet. Am I missing them? I'd like to grab a few Allarounds and some of the new bushcraft models.

I just got one of the big bushcraft blades on ebay for 18 bucks, wahoo! I wish they were carbon steel... to me it doesn't make much sense for 3/4 to be stainless.

I see that MoS has spotted their market in bushcrafting markets

Although I do have to say that I prefer the more streamlined old models more.

Thanks to Coldwood I now have a stainless Allround. I am amazed at how good a tool this is.
A carbon one is certainly in my future.

At a gun show a few weeks ago, there was a Mora dealer that had Mora's with clear plastic sheaths. Kinda odd looking.

I have to call Fail on them not making a carbon bushcraft model. They should have made both. I chipped\rolled the edge on my 711 carbon a few weekends ago. I was able to work it out so it's still usable, but these little Mora's need all the carbon toughness they can get.

The Bushcraft Triflex is their Triflex steel, a clad carbon steel.

I just picked up the Bushcraft Forest. Very nice. The blade is a little different than the standard scandi grind that is on my other Moras. I presume I sharpen it the same way? Any opinions on this blade grind? As compared to their standard scandi?

I also got the Bushcraft with the triflex blade because I'm a big fan of that blade.

I have seen couple videos on You Tube of the Mora Miki, which looks cool, but I haven't seen it at any of the online catalog sites.

A couple of UK sites have it, and I did a group buy awhile ago.

It's cool, because it is a Mora, but it is also pretty different then their standard offerings.

And check out Guyon's thread, post 19, great images. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=707215

Good point, but I think the "force" is a wider blade with more belly, just based on the pics.

I called Ragnar, and confirmed that. And he pointed out that the specs bore that out, which I had not read....
