Bob, that is one seriously nice piece of damascus, and the whole package is excellent. Too bad I'm closing on a new house in 3 weeks and am absolutely cash-flow strapped... and will be for years. Dammit. Well, I need a place to live too I guess.

Superb! ...and worth every penny. I've been wondering what redwood burl looks like when its stabilized . I've dried a whole bunch, so maybe its off to WSSI.

That is on damn fine blade No joke!
I just sent off some Redwood for stabilizing I hope it turns out that well.

Absolutely gorgeous! The style reminds me of the hunters made by the late Donald Lange, who was a great ABS Mastersmith from Minnesota. I dont think there is anything about that knife that I dont like, except that I dont own it!

Everything works together to make that one beautiful knife!!!!! Oh, and looking at my keyboard I see cigarette ashes, dried-up coffee, steel dust, potato chip crumbs, a dead mosquito, and some stuff I really don't want to know about!! I'm a bachelor!!
