New Mouse?

I am looking for a new small knife and I seem to remember that there was going to be a new Mouse designed by Tim Wegner. Has it been released yet and what are some of the details such as blade steel and handle material?
 
It's my understanding that the new Mouse is a creation and product of Blade Tech. It is not connected with Spyderco and is not in the Spydie catalog. My advice is get one of the Spyderco Mouses (Mice?) if you can find one.
 
I was unaware that the new Mouse is not made by Spyderco. Why do you suggest I try and get an old Mouse and not the new one?

The Spydie Mouse is a proven classic. The Blade Tech one may be nice too but I don't see how they can possibly improve on the original. Check them both out but I bet you'll prefer the Spydie in the end.
