So I purchased a Mule (k390), and eagerly awaited shipment. A few days ago, I got the dreaded email from Spyderco:
"We appreciate your support and enthusiasm to purchase our Mule Team K-390 MT17P. Unfortunately, we experienced website issues. Our system accepted more orders than could be filled with our limited inventory. Orders were reviewed by date and time received. We regret that your order cannot be fulfilled at this time and has been cancelled from our system. We will keep your name and contact information and should we end up having any available inventory, we will contact you based on the same priority that your order was received."
I am disappointed, but I understand. My question is this - Is anyone familiar with a second release, or a quantity of inventory that was held back during initial release? Anything like this happen before?
I have not heard back from them since Tuesday, so I am assuming that I will not be getting a mule this time around.
Thanks for any info.
Guess that means I will have to get two of the CTS 204P.
