Just wanted to get these back in view. Model A handles 3" blades (including Bushraptor), Model B for the 4" blades and the Model C for 5"-5"+. Same leather as used in my custom line, all top grade vegtan, tannery sealed interior. Prices including shipping are:A-$35, B-$45, C-$45 Colors are brown and tan with dangler and fire steel loop as options at $15 and $5. They also work very well with most of Alan Surls (WAS Knives) models including the Bison and Kodiak. One Model B sold for use with a Spyderco Bill Moran and fit like a glove. Contact me via PM or email at ruger315@charter.net for next day shipping.

I will gladly vouch for these sheaths. I have a Model A and Model B. Both are what I'd expect from Rick as far as quality and style goes, in other words top notch.

Sorry about the poor light on the following pics. Snowy and getting dark.

The knives pictured and more will fit in these sheaths. If you have a request, and I have a knife that works, I'll provide pictures showing you the fit.

Model A with Hiking Buddy:

Model B with Bushcrafter:

any chance to get a photo of the backside of those, thurin or rick?
would that KE bushie be unreasonable in the A? Looks like it might drown a bit in B?

Which sheath would best fit a monarch?

You say that 'cuz you know I don't have a Monarch. ;) The Monarch is one I haven't been able to figure out yet be the comparison pics to know how big it really is. I hope to have one some day. Maybe Rick has one?

Even less light now, but I think you'll get the idea from these quick shots:

Personally, I like how it rides in B. I like them to sit deep as they feel more secure to me, and don't get in the way of my spare tire as much. :D

That black micarta bushfinger is just lovely Thurin. Love it

Haha, no. I thought you had one man. The monarch sits at 7.75" but is pretty wide. Almost Bushcrafter or bushfinger wide. It's definitely not slim. I too like my blade to sit deep in it's sheath. The less the handle is exposed, the less scratches, dings and dents it will see from bushes, shrubs, seat-belts and crazy, drunk strippers.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one with that problem …

Here's some comparison photos of Model A&B with a Monarch. Fits the blade well in both, so just a choice of how much handle you want exposed.

Good stuff. Thanks Mr. Lowe.

I think I'll need one of your classic two tone custom jobs.

Jim,

I've been carrying my Esquire in a Model A for almost a week now and I like it. It sits deep the way I like it. I'll get a shot here in a bit of it in sheath. In the What's in your Pocket thread I have a pic but the knife is out of the sheath.
