New Native 5 G10

Got my birthday present from my wife yesterday,
Native 5
Beautiful knife, fit and finish excellent.
Pocket clip position left something to be desired for me though.
Had a deep carry titanium clip in my goodies and wow what a difference for me





Covers the lanyard hole but I don't care much for lanyards
 
Congrats. Nice knife.

It is on my list to buy. I have the Lightweight but want the G10 also.
 
Congrats on your new Native5. I love the knife and carry one of mine every day almost since they came out. I agree with you - it is missing low riding clip. Low riding wire clip would be even better.

and yes it rides pretty high in the pocket with the standard clip.
I happen to like the wire clips, I didn't at first but they grew on me, and think a wire clip on this would help.
My deep carry clip helps a lot.
 
Mr. PC, you have inspired me. I have a Native 5 G10 that does not get a lot of attention, and a spare deep carry clip, so I know what I'll be doing later today.

That's the problem I have out where I'm at.
No good cutlery stores nearby with a decent selection to look at and handle before purchase.
I read, read some more, read reviews, and then purchase or trade online.
You get the knife in hand only after you own it, then decide if it's a keeper.
I guess that's part of the fun of collecting though.
I'm up to fourteen Spyderco's and so far I've only done one catch and release.
They are keepers.
 
See, I'm not what I'd consider a 'collector,' so I don't want to go through all of that. On top of it, I don't do Paypal. :p
I don't think I'd be disappointed if I just bought one on a whim, however, I would like to know if I can manipulate it like I can my Delica.

I've only had mine a couple of days and already like it a lot,
I don't think you could go wrong with the Native
