*I threaded with a needle a small piece of line through the bottom part of the shrink tube > through the photon > then through the other side of shrink tube. Instead of knots to keep it in place, I just melted the ends and flatened while the line was liquid hot.

I was just going to just wear a Wegner Esquire (Photon Version), but I like my version better. What do you think?

BTW - Electrical Shrink Tube is my new friend ... if you are Kydex Making challenged like I am, shrink tube is the next best thing for small set ups.

Next project is to take a (EMPTY) mini-bic and make a keychain carry out of the shrink tube for mini-bics.

Wow, that's a nice setup you got there. Interesting knife too, please let us know how your next project comes out.

Is it reuseable or only for that one lighter you made it for?

Micra! And that Craftsman 4-way standard screwdriver thingie!
 
The Bic Bra can & will be reused.

The micra has been taken apart and actually has only one arm with 5 blades from the micra inserted with a 50lbs fishing swivel on the top so it can rotate during use.

The 4 way you can get at sears or Osh Hardware for $2.50, it also works as a great little prybar.

That little metal bar above the 4 way is a whistle.

Freedom White Photon as well. I think I like this baby better than the ARC I used to carry.

Really?

I like my ARC better than my Photon Freedom Covert, but now that ARC is gone, I may be getting more of the Freedom Coverts.

May I ask what it is about the Freedom you like better than the dearly departed ARC?
 
Really, that I can get 7 photons for the price of an ARC these days, that's it. If they were still making ARC's for $30 I would be carrying that instead though.

On the other hand, the photon freedom is much lighter and I love the switch mechanism on it. I never was able to turn my arc on when I needed it when my hands were full. The photon goes on with a press of a button.

One more thing ... Photon's customer service is A+++.

So, before I had 3 ARC's in my arsenal of toys ... now I have 7 Photon's Freedoms / II's / I's in an assortment of colors.
