New NO Arrived

Oh, man! My new NO arrived. Looks just like the one on the website, except even better. The size, fit and balance are the best I've experienced so far in a larger Busse blade, which is saying quite a lot. Somehow I don't think this one will end up being a safe queen. It begs to cut and chop. In fact I bet if it had a pull cord I could start it up like a chainsaw. I think Kliff Stump will be having a new adventure soon.

I got the satin finish blade with the standard black Micarta handle slabs, not the magnum handle configuration. I have medium sized hands and the standard fits mine perfectly. The size and heft of the knife is just about perfect for most chopping chores and general cutting. Although I would still prefer a BM for large chopping work. The size of the knife almost makes me wonder what niche the new Fusion Steelheart will fill. I will have to wait and see. I'm sure Jerry already has that figured out.

Soon my friend, very soon, I am stitching her new clothes as we speak! Sad to say I had to borrow to get my pattern, but my friend here will have something sweet to playwith for the kindness.
