I ordered a 112 from a certain Shoppe and they delivered. My first Buck 112 and it feels great, solid lockup, no blade play, centered, very sharp, and feels solid. What can I say I love it and can't wait to start using it.

Great knife, congratulations!

It's like the short-bed pickup of the classic Buck line - a little smaller and stubbier, which gives it a very nice look.

They are workhorses as well - nice choice!

Congrats! It's a great a edc and some put the wood down a little but each one is different/unique and usually pretty. It should go with out saying the same for the 110/55.

Nice looking knife and I have a few Bucks myself and may add the 112 to my collection sometime in the future.

Nice!

I love the 112 but they're just a bit too big for pocket carry in jeans.

Those were designed to carry on a snap-closing belt sheath.

Many of the guys in my high school carried a Ranger or a Hunter - and nobody thought anything of it.

Today it would be reported on CNN..

I have one like yours, about 5 years now. I don't carry it much but I do like it. I'm thinking about having the Custom Shop make me one up for Christmas. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Nice choice.

Yes I have no intention of carry it in my pocket. The 110 is a little too big for me right now so I chose the 112 for my use and it will be carried in sheath.
I like to carry around some heft once in a while and this fits the bill. I will be using it for all kinds of things and it feels great in hand. I was going to go with a custom 112 right out of the gate but I've been clumsy lately and want to use it without having to baby it or worry about dropping it.

Yeah, I know it's intended for belt carry. But the 500 has the same length blade & fits comfortably in a pocket, as does my not-Buck knife of the same design (just slimmer.)

I hear ya, I'd be locked in straight-jacket in a padded room today.

To think I took my dad's war-trophy Arisaka rifle (with dad's supervision & teacher approval) to fourth-grade show and tell!
