First post. Just wanted to say hello to everyone.
About two weeks ago I discovered my 36 year old Buck 110, in the bottom of an ammo box. Hadn't seen this knife in over 25 years and had forgotten all about it. Other than the brass being a little green, it's in great condition. Glad to have it back!

Have since visited the Buck Knives web site and discovered that Buck now rounds off the edges of the 110. Making one of the greatest knives ever, even better!
Couldn't resist picking up this titanium nitride coated blade of the Alaskan Guide Series. Have also pickup a 345 Vantage with the 420HC blade.

Have a Buck 112 on the way. I'm sure it will become another of my new favorites!
Lots of great information on this forum.
Looking forward to doing a lot more reading here!

Welcome to the Buck forum!!

You have a nice old classic there, and some nice new ones!

That one is a beauty! Even the sheath looks to be nearly unused.

Welcome to the forum.

You realize you now need an older (squared off) 112 to accompany the newly found 110 — and 50th anniversary models 110 and 112 with the rounded "soft" bolsters.

What a wonderful discovery of your 110 and some great new additions too. Welcome to the Buck Forum and Bladeforums!!

The old Buck 110 did see very light usage.
Can't see the new knives getting too abused either.
Surprised how much I like the 345 Vantage. Really like caring this one.
Don't see myself adding to many more knives, but some of the Customs I've seen are sure tempting.

"Old Buck enthusiasts", now that's a great way to describe this crowd! Welcome - nice Bucks! OH

I did the same thing a few years ago. Finding my old Buck folders and fixed blades, which I had used and carried for over 25 years, gave me the incentive to buy many more fixed blades and folders to add to my collection. Check out the Buck Marksman. I different type of knife for Buck. Some love it, others do not. I got two:). Purchasing and using these Buck knives, the first knives given to me by my Father and Uncles, brought back many great memories from my childhood outdoor adventures. I guess my second childhood is kicking in. That's a good thing IMO.

Personally I take offense at "OLD." I am just as young when I was 39 as I am now 26 years later. Jack Benny and I both have, excuse me, use to have the same age but then he kicked the bucket.
Oh for 39 again!!
Actually though, I do think that most of us collectors are in what some say is the senior citizens group, mainly as we were raised years ago with Buck Knives. Their reputation has been around forever and remains he best.
