The past weekend a new-to-us Gossman came into our possession. This knife has only the initials SG on it... definitely early work. It has a cord wrapped handle and has been sent to a friend to have slabs put on. I will post pics of it when it comes back.
Beautiful blade... about 4 inches if I remember.
Quite the aquisition.
:D

hmmm, I don't recall to many cord wrapped knives in the past. Definately early work with the SG mark. I've got 3 marks out there. SG, then Razorback. Very few on them stamped Razorback and now Gossman.

The beauty of it is that we now have at least one with each stamp. The ultimate collection in my opinion... and all of them sweet users too!
The handle was cord wrapped when we got it... I do not know if it ever had scales or not prior to our acquisition.

Thats pretty sweet. I'd love to see pics!

Scoooootttt....
i reeeeally like that EDC.
Do you still make that design? It would match the TX Razor soooo well.
:)

What's the time frame for the different marks? I have one knife marked SG and another marked razorback.

The SG mark was used from 2003 to late summer 2006. The Razorback mark was used from August 2006 to Jan. 2007. Gossman mark started Feb. 2007 to present. I'm guessing only 15 to 25 knives out there with the Razorback mark.

only 15-25?
And I have one.
Makes me feel special. :D

Scott, I sent you an email about the EDC.
