Do I made the purchase of the lot of vintage Gillette razors today. I have 3 techs, a new and a single ring coming my way now, all for the tidy sum of $55 shipped. I already have my New frankenrazor and a early Canadian Tech, but I have been wanting to try the newer Techs for awhile now to see if I can feel the difference between the two. I also want to try a proper New with the proper handle and a top plate that I didn't have to clean up with a needle file.
The Single Ring, well going by the serial number it is a 1921 single ring, Gillette's production was all of 18 years old. There is no way I will be able to resist shaving with a part of Gillette's early history. It will probably be a blood bath, but I will be able to say I have shaved with a razor that is nearly a century old
