I just picked up a NIB "old stock" Kershaw Lahar. I know I probably paid too much for it, but I wanted one. Not a great find or anything. I will try to get pictures posted up soon.

What "new old stock" knives have you found, well after they were discontinued and not generally available? Not talking individual sales here among collectors and enthusiasts, but at retail, whether online or store front.

I picked up a Shallot in S110, talk about over paying for a Kershaw. It came from a on line retailer that had one in stock.

Most of my CRKT's. CRKT Dragon, CRKT M1, CRKT Apache II, my CRKT Hammond Cruiser and CRKT Crawford Kasper.

I've purchased many Schrade USA Old Timers during the first few years after the company went bankrupt. And other than those, I often buy pocketknives on closeout or from the discontinued sale counter.

Couple discontinued Blurs from my local gun shop he had dusty on the shelf, exciting find for a Blur collector. Also got a SG2 Junkyard Dog from a east coast brick and mortar they had in stock not long ago.

I found a Buck 560 at a local gun shop. The owner said he bought a dozen of them back in 2000, and it was his last one he had on hand. For $45 I just couldn't pass it up:D

Great posts - thanks for sharing! This doesn't count as "new old stock", but I did find a Gerber Mini Covert in excellent condition in a pawn shop a year or two ago for $8.

One of my local gun shops had (no thanks to me anymore :P) hella "New Old Stock" Spyderco. I've picked up from them Spyderco 440V SE Native for $45, Vagabond for $30, a decent amount of Spyderco Kitchen Knives (two Santoku, a Bread Knife, an SE Carving Knife and two SE 6 inch utility knives) for $125 total.

I bought a NOS Lahar myself, and liked it so much that I bought another (used) as soon as I found a reasonable price. Same thing for a Kershaw Cyclone and Mini Cyclone, as well as several fixed blades of various make. If I find something I like enough to buy a spare, it's most likely discontinued, so buying used or NOS years later often becomes the norm for me. For instance, I bought a SOG Team Leader Survivor TL-02 and really liked it, but the TL-03 was of no interest to me, so I waited until a NOS TL-02 popped up for the same price as the first one I bought. I'm also a fan of the Schrade XT2B, and after buying a Chinese one, learned that there had previously been a USA version. I eventually tracked one down, as well as two more that were either copies or just branded as Rigid and Outdoor Life instead of Schrade. All NOS, very "O" in some cases.
