New, Old style Leatherman Charge TTi differences?

Hi guys -

I searched the forum a bit and looked at some pics, but I'm trying to figure out the differences between the new and old style TTi's.

Just from what I can see in the pics, the handles look a little different and there is a lanyard ring. The tool compliment seems the same.

Is that about it?

As far as I know just the handles have changed.

Pertaining to the lanyard. I know the Wave and Xti have lanyards, but they are just hidden and most people do not know they even have them on their tool. I would check my (old style) TTi, but its packed up in a box ready to get shipped out.

It's there. I use the one on my old style TTi. But for the cosmetic change on the handles, there is no difference between the models.
 
Hmmm......I had an older style Charge TTi which I sold off and pretty quickly regretted it, so I have another one coming from a forum member, which I believe is still the old style.

I never did find a lanyard spot on it.

If someone could post a couple pics showing where it's at and how to deploy it, I'd be grateful.

Hahahahaha. I didn't even put two and two together, but i'm the one selling you the Charge on the other forum. :D

Ah - that is kinda funny, but glad you had it. Shoulda kept the one I had since only a couple days went by before I started looking to replace it. Weird I know. :)

So, where in the heck is my Leatherman?! Ha.

Just waiting for the Money Order to get here and it will go out that day or the next depending on what time the mail gets delivered. :thumbup:
