New Olive/Green Cadet is Here...Pics

My new Olive/Green Cadet arrived today so I thought I would post up a quick picture for all to see. I will also be posting a new group shot showing all of my other colored Cadets including the Original Cooper Cadet and adding this new Olive/Green. This particular picture turned out being an excellent representation of the knife's color.

The color looks good. It would be nicer with a small blade instead of a file, however.
 
Oh Mrs. Sparkee! I know what else you can get me for Christmas............

So many colors, so much shiny metal..............drool........

If you would rather have a small blade instead of the nail file you could buy the Cadet II. The Cadet II has a small blade in the place of the nail file, everything else is the same except it's only available in silver alox.
 
It seems like LOTS of the 84mm Vics and 85mm Wengers are being manufactured with the nail files instead of a small blade, so perhaps the market is telling Vic and Wenger that it prefers the nail file no mater what knife afficianados think.
 
Actually in absence of the tweezer in alox models the nail cleaning function could come in handy. I seem to have a tendancy to get large splinters right under my nail. Any too tool take them out is a sacred object.

Roger of Swissbianco +B is working on SAKs with alox scales that will still have the toothpick and tweezers..The best of both worlds!

As soon as/ if the Cadet II is released, with that handle finish, I'm going to be all over it:cool:

Well, I don't see it happening. Mainly because the Cadet II has already been discontinued, although there are plenty of them still available. If you like the tool selection on the Cadet II, I would go ahead and buy one while you still can.

Yes, the website showed the faded color. I think it's just a bad picture on CTD's website, because I have purchased 10 more of the bags(same color) since buying the first one, and they have all looked great when they arrived.
