lrv just dug through the archives and came up with the 1992 new product order sheet for these knives. The initial order was for 65 pieces and notes that they hope for a subsequent order. Also of note was that previous Border Patrol knives had proven unsatisfactory to the officers, thus their contracting with Schrade. They were Buck 110's. :) Evidently my knife, #BP0108, was from a subsequent order.
