I've wanted to get my hands on one for a while now. In a recent email correspondence, Peter mentioned that he sold one of his gorgeous folders to Plaza Cutlery during the show. A quick visit to Plaza's site and a subsequent phone call later and a new Solar Reef Framelock was on its way to me. Big thanks to Dan Delavan for the prompt service and email responses.
The Atwood Solar Reef is a Ti handled framelock with a very cool ano treatment and 'snakeskin' finish, blade is just over 3" of S30V, two beefy thumbstuds and clip set for tip down carry. And you can't help but notice that nice fat blade! One of the reasons I like Obenauf's as well, a portly cutting edge. Lastly, the Solar Reef is as smooth as they get.

Peter is also a local (well, kinda local) guy, located in Western MA.
