A month or two ago I read a thread posted by nifrand about a knife he purchased made by Ray Rogers. I was in the market for something new, so I checked out Ray's website (http://www.rayrogers.com) and decided to email him with some ideas.
I just received a very nice knife from him--wharncliffe, ATS-34 (which he heat treated and cryo treated himself), stabilized walnut burl handle with red liners, and a very nice mirror finish. The photo doesn't do this one justice.
