Just finished the sheath for this one lastnight. Its a real sticker... and the narrow blade makes it great for carving. I don't know.... would this be classified as a "bird and trout" knife?

More pics in the maker's FOR SALE forum... Minislim

Thanks
Rick

Sweet Knife, I'd call it more of a Dangler or light duty Woods Walker, too pretty to be a Bird and Trout but you could fit it into that catagory.

Another winner, Rick. Great stuff. I can definitely see using this to prep a fire and clean fish after a day out on the water.

All the best,

- Mike

Sweet. It reminds me of a skinny barong.

GOOD!.... that's what I modeled the predecessor (Bushmoro) after... The Barong of the Moro people. I'm glad it is still evident in this version, too.

Rick

Here is an approximate size comparison of the Bushmoro(top), Slimmoro(middle) and Minislim(bottom)...

Bushmoro = Papa Bear

Slimmoro = Mama Bear

Great looking knife Rick, what was your main intended uses for it when you came up with the design....I'd imagine it's a pretty good all rounder eh ?

Reminds me of a Skinny version of his Bushmoro.

Sweet looking blade Rick, awsome how the lines flow together. I like to see bush knifes with good sharp points. That sheath compliments it well also.

Actually, this design stemmed from my wife's constant complaining... "Its too big!".... if you only knew how often I have heard that. She told me she liked the Bushmoro but it was too big, so I made the Slimmoro and still... too big. Now I have the Minislim. If this is still too big, she have to find another man to satisfy her... knife needs, that is.

Rick

I could see myself using that to dispatch a enemy spy in the cold of a Moscow winter....under the armpit, thrust in, SSSSHHH!, SSHHH! no screaming, slump to ground

I don't like it. Maybe you should send it to me for proper disposal, mk?

Email inbound :p

So...are you trying to make one of these for her?

If not just tell her it's none of her #%*! business :D
