New one off the bench

Just finished this one up for a fellow forumite.
1084/15n20 low layer ladder pattern
416 guard
dyed and stabilized maple burl furnished by customer. Its a gift for a serviceman in the Navy, Hence the colors.

6 1/4" blade
5" handle
.213" thick.

WOW! That is AWESOME Shawn! I like everything about it. The damascus pattern is SWEET, and I also like the grind.

I like how you have two busy materials separated by a clean and simple guard. THIS is one large reason this works so well. It balances the senses, instead of overwhelming them.
