Thanks John, This is different for me, I made this for a co-workers kid who wouldn't properly care for a carbon blade. As far as the finish goes, it took alot of sand paper and buffing .. It isn't perfect but I like it.

Not too bad to work with. I use good belts anyway. It seems to sand differently from what I'm used to. Luckly I have a heat treat oven to nail the temps..The biggest PITA was getting the blade out of the foil and into the oil quickly.
