I've been going to this show for three years now and this was easily the best one so far. We're even bringing in a lot of out-of-staters such as Shane Siebert, Butch Vallotton, Devon Thomas as well as the usuals like D'Holder, Tim Hancock, Bill Ruple and Richard Rogers among many others.

Now to the good stuff, I picked up an ironwood Richard Rogers Toothpick (the last knife on his table)

Also a Bill Ruple with extensive, outstanding filework

A Steve Ryan fixed blade and a set of Landers, Frary and Clark MOP/Sterling fruit knives.

I'll be trying to get some photo's up shortly.

Outstanding! Really looking forward to your scores. You have impeccable taste, I'll add. :D

My first time at the show.....

I pulled the trigger on a stag/titanium/fileworked trapper from a fellow named Ty Montell. Sort of a mix of Traditional pattern/new materials. I really liked his work. Enjoyed the show as well.

BurkStar,
Congrats on your new additions. They all sound great and for me any knife you can pick up by Richard is all good!

I sat with Bill at his table at Knife Expo in California last year. He's good people who makes some of the nicest looking slip joints I have ever seen.
If I didn't collect only Bowies, I would own a few of his knives.
Also, Richard Rodgers is superb.

Y'all have to excuse the poor quality pictures, but its been a reaaalll long weekend. In addition to what I listed above, today I also got a 17" Barminski Bowie, a proto Pacific Cutlery Bali with original Bali-song sheath and a Carson small model 6.

Will try and get some more/better pictures tomorrow.

That's one of the oldest Custom bali's from Bali-Song USA, Inc. I've seen in a long time. Congrats Burkstar. Great score.
