Has anyone else seen these:

There appear to be ~5 new models, from spear points to recurves, made from 5160 steel. Interesting that they chose to switch blade steels and the choice they went with...

I've got an old SP6 which I had reground awhile back. I still think it is one of the most under rated knives on the market. The only fault I can find with it is that is says "fighter" on it.

Anyone have any of the new 5160 models yet? If so, what do you think?

Thanks for the heads up,i like the spec plus stuff.I'll have to look into these i was looking at the sp6 myself not bothered too much about fighter title although i know what you mean.I have seen various pictures and some show the top clip point sharpened is this so,this is the only thing that would put me off this model.I'm trying to find a spec plus between the quartermaster and the sp8 7-8 inches.I've got the taskforce it's got serrations i think i'm just creating excuses so i can buy somethin else.

Very interesting hatchetjack - thanks for that :)

DISCO: Yes, the top edge is sharpened to some degree.
