So I am kinda sick right now. I bought a shadow IV years ago, and kept it in its box 95% of the time. Well I was playing with it the other day, and for some reason I was too lazy to put it away properly. Instead I put it in the closest drawer.
I took it out today to find a nice bright scratch across the back of the butt cap. :thumbdn:
I understand I should just carry on, and start actually using it, but I can't bring myself to use it yet.
So what's my best bet for it to match the rest of the knife - order a new cap, or try and send in the original and have it refinished? (not even sure they will refinish just the cap) I need to order a few little things from them soon, so I will call and ask their opinion - but I thought I would ask here first, for hopefully some first hand experience.
