no, it's not a new stripper thread. Just letting y'all know that I've been busy mangling steel into (hopefully) acceptable cutting tools. I will be posting soon, and all Beckerheads/Ka-Bar Krew get a 10% discount until the end of the month. I don't have an exorbitant amount of knives right now, but am finishing a batch that will be sent to Peter's soon. That's all folks! oh yeah, I'm also long overdue for a GAW and this change of shade needs one, so I will see what I can come up with. Thanks!! If it wasn't for Beckerland I would have never dreamt of doing something like this.

Go Go Go!!
Congrats on the switch, ZN!

buy two mods get one free :D

or not ;)

congrats!

lol, thanks! I was going to post my inventory now but the blades are at home and I don't remember the measures. Guess I'll do it tomorrow morning, have 6 blades ready to go and 1 almost done.

Looking forward to seeing them!

Mmm that shade suits you much better. Good to see you're back in the right color there Ninja! Look forward to seeing some pics of the inventory. Onya brother!

a'iiight fellas, my first post in the exchange should be done within the hour. If the mods-for-sale allow it, I will post pics here too :D

Beautiful work. I can see why everyone loves #3. But I'd like to do some batoning with #1.

I bet # 1 would baton great. I have one like it waiting to be sent for ht that I'm gonna keep...for research purposes! I'll beat the snot out of it :D

#1 looks like a great camp/kitchen knife with fire wood capabilities. Like a stronger version of that 440a Cutco put out by kabar (by Much better priced for a Much better steel). I bet this would give a command performance around a camp fire.

#2 looks like a Great kitchen piece, at least that's where it would reside in my house. A personal favorite.

#3 I would keep if I were you. Great looking piece that you will look back on and want to make another, but you will always think the time vs wages lost wouldn't be worth the re-creation of it.

#4 (didn't you cut yourself with this knife when it was supposed to go to your mother?) But, I digress... It is an odd but highly functional looking piece, one that I would be proud to have in my Butcher block. I bet to de-articulates a ham or shoulder like it was designed for nothing other than that task alone. Fantastic!

#5&6 definitely not seen prior to your sale and that is a good thing. Functional looking while still having eye appeal and creativity in execution. Not my person choice out of those listed, but I bet they perform incredibly well.

Keep it up!

I love your blade designs. They've got a nice "edgy" look to them (no pun intended). That little wharnie with the blue handle is different, but very useful looking. Keep up the amazing work brutha.

thanks, fellas, it really means a lot coming from all of you. NJBillK, yes, I did cut my face with one like it, but it is not my mom's knife. She uses it constantly and says it does a great job at de-boning dead and ready to cook animal pieces :D I debated keeping #3 for a while but decided to let it go, I have a lot of knives already and 8-10 of those are made by me, so it's time to wean myself from that maternal instinct. I just posted a teaser pic of what's coming up in the sale thread, and I have another pic of blades ready to be sent to Peter's, just not sure where to post it.

I think Here is a Fantastic idea for usage as a testing bed.
Post them up!
