New Orleans Auto Law Help

Hey y'all,
I've been doing a lot of looking around and am having trouble determining what the knife laws in New Orleans are, specifically those around autos. I know they used to definitely be illegal but Louisiana passed a new bill that took effect this year that changed a few things around. I was wondering wondering if someone knows for certain what the laws are here. Thanks everyone!
 
Not exactly sure. But if I was going to New Orleans, I'd leave any knife I had in my hotel room or at home.
Looks pretty Liberal to me on KnifeRights.
I would not trust any public official to know what the hell they are talking about as it pertains to knives.
Just my 2 cents.
