Hello all, I've only had a few gift victorinox and a leatherman my life but yesterday bought my second and third knives. A Paramilitary 2 and a Bug!

Congrats on the new Spydies. You will enjoy them. And they won't be your last. Welcome to the addiction.

Thanks! I just LOVE the look of the blade back and the thumb hole. From reading posts I picked the Para2 from the overwhelming high regard for it. Should be arriving tomorrow!

Yea, I love my Para too. It is really a nice knife. So nice that I now have three of them. I like the Military also. You'll have to be carefull you don't become a steel junky too. Spyderco produces lots of knives in many different steels, some sprints and some regular production. So far I really like the Gayle Bradly in cpm m4 and my cf Millie in m390. Both are real nice. If you like variety Spyderco is a great company to buy knives from.

And they arrived! Wow never held a real, quality folder before. Very nice. The para and the bug both shave paper right out of the box!

You're hooked for good. Spydercos are hard to put down. You started off right with a Para-Military.

This is the truth. Now you'll need to pick up a delica ffg, and an endura, and some sages, oh and the Dragonfly 2 is great, and the gayle bradley, and for sure a manix2 and,...well you get the picture...

As a fellow new owner of a spyderco blade, I can say this there is no cure for our addiction to great knives from spyderco. I know I am already thinking of my next, might be a manix 2 or a PM or a Caly 3.5 or either the endura or a delica. and I will be buying my sister a Manix2 as it looks like it would fit her hands the best, a native for my brother in law , one of the ethnic line for my nephew and a ladybug for my mom and a tenacious for my dad.

Carried both in my pockets tonight at a demolition derby of all places. Felt nice. Kept feeling/checking the clip. Heh i was worried someone might pickpocket me.

Ask and ye shall receive!
Two of the pics are from a cellphone - I only have the cheap extension tubes for macro so no depth of field control.. - Free Mad Dog ceramic if anybody can guess which ones are cell phone pics!

Love my Para 2, had it for little more than a week. Didn't know it would be as big as it was, but damn it's nice!
The blade looks like its lurking when folded, then Thwack! out it comes with that awesome sound :)

Pure greatness, and very hmm, confidence inspiring? Great work, great grind, very sharp.
Very comfortable grip, good jimping, gorgeous slabs that are also good to grasp.
Noticed I likes it?

Now, I only need to get a Dragonfly2, Manix2 maybe and a Delica for sure, and those Sages sure looks wise!
