Hi guys.

A little over a week ago, I purchased my first ESSE, an Izula, based on my lurking/reading -- it certainly lives up to its reputation, and I'm very impressed with the knife itself. This knife has converted me to fixed-blades, and it will be my EDC for the foreseeable future.

The next week was spent frolicking with carry options and the handle; I carried it both unwrapped and wrapped, and have handled one with scales. I finally found a wrap that suited my needs and wants.

Currently, I'm using a slightly modified Strider wrap, and thus far it's felt great -- and also looks pretty cool.

Now, on to my question/request:

As previously mentioned, I've also been messing with carry options. I intended the knife to be for IWB carry on my right hip; this is the most natural draw for me, and offers a well-concealed carry package. I did try out other options, however. I dislike neck carry (it's an unnatural draw to me, and there's no sense in carrying a knife I can't easily access), and I wasn't too big on front/rear pocket carry either (while rear pocket worked, it didn't offer the concealability I was looking for, and front clashed with the rest of the stuff in my pocket). So I settled back on IWB carry.

However, the factory sheath doesn't really lend itself to IWB carry; while I've improvised for the past few days with the MOLLE lock, the options there are unfortunately lacking. Can anybody recommend a (relatively inexpensive) sheath for this purpose?

I was looking at this sheath (http://www.chestnutridgeknifeshop.c...d=385&osCsid=a9a2f9f955b363462ef2d70cca8f4266) and planned on simply reversing the Tek-Lok, but I'd like to hear some other suggestions before I buy.

Thanks for the help.

I'd contact Mr. and Mrs. Shotgunner. (Mike and Katie) PM them or send an email thru their web site.
They've got pics of various sheaths of IWB carry around threads. Be a great place to start.

talk to mike by email and doublebarrelsheaths.com

the kydex sheaths he makes are much thinner and less bulky for iwb carry, makes a huge diffrnece and he does a very good job.

take it easy and congrats on the knife
