I was walking the dog this morning and decided it was the perfect time to practice my wave use. No one told me the wave didn't like shirt tails. LOL. I like this shirt too.

You can also see what happened on the next draw when I tried to avoid the shirt tail. I always figure no new knife is truly broken in until I've accidentally drawn my own blood.

Ouch. I have never tried waving mine with my shirt untucked. Apparently it doesn't work so well.

At least the cut doesn't look too bad.

Which model was it that bit ya?

It's actually the EZT 0620 CF, but I also am a new owner of a CQC 7AW and a Mini CQC 15. I just got done with the break in, dis-assembly, and lube process with the other 2. I've got another spot on my index finger from the 7 that didn't draw blood but came pretty darn close.

No the cut's not bad at all, I'm more irritated about the shirt. I've already got the cut super glued and forgotten about.

I've done worse to a brand new hoodie. Cut about 3" of it along the back from my Hattin. Didn't even feel it snag the hoodie. The same knife got my index finger's tip, not as bad as yours though.

My Blue Jeans look like they have been to war, I keep repairing em with needle & thread. This little battle rip you had today is not a big deal in the world I live in. Wear it like a badge of honor, practice using the wave, and smile.

I've never accidentally cut any of my clothes with my Emersons but I have accidentally cut myself quite a few times. And it's always that second right before the blood comes out that you realize what you've done that is so hilarious:D

My first time cutting clothing. I've probably had a dozen finger nicks over the past few years as I've rotated my knives and completed a major upgrade.
