I was down at my grandfathers recently and the discussion of knives came up, I asked him what his father used to carried, he told me it was a Western Trapper and whenever I was ready I could take it home. Needless to say I'm the proud new owner of a knife that has a ton of memories locked into it's deep patina.

Here it is.

You've really got something there, Johnny.

Wow! Your Great Grandad certainly took good care of that knife.

That is really nice!

Very very nice. And I'm sure it's chock full of memories.

Congrats!

Thanks guys, I was really surprised at the shape the knife was in, the backsprings snap a lot better than other knives made today.

I'm very proud to have it in the collection.

What I understand about him is that he loved small game hunting very much.
I figured I could honor him and his knife with my small game set up.

That knife is in phenomenal shape. I'm sure it'll bring you a lot of happiness to own and carry.

I think that knife fell in to the proper hands. Enjoy it.
