Who doesn't like a Monday when you get a knife delivery?

My order came in and I am extremely pleased:D I ordered the RC-6 and an Izula and must admit, they are stunning.

Shaved up a quick handful of pine-tinder with the Izula and walked around the yard and whacked a few low branches clean off with the "SIX". I am very happy with the feel and finish on both of these blades. I am especially pleased with how similar (to me) the RC-6 is to my father's ol' Cattaraugus. The weights are almost identical and the balance is perfect. I have already added a lanyard to the "SIX" and wrapped my Izula handle with paracord. Can't wait till this weekend,I get to take my 6yr old son out for opening day(fishing) here in Connecticut on Saturday and then I'm hitting the woods with my buddy for an over-nite camp-out.

I plan on taking a bunch of photos of gear, site, and knife work.

Nice, it makes me jealous. I am waiting for my 6 to arrive. That is a great looking blade, can't wait. Enjoy it.
 
Yes, that first photo came out really nice, I have made it my back screen on my laptop:D
