got my new scales from TKC for my 7. The guys at TKC had these made for me after they ran out of stock and decided to pull this particular color (Burnt Orange). If you want some fine scales and over the top customer service, then I can not recommend them any higher, AWESOME people.:thumbup:

what do you mean by "pull this particular color?" they are no longer offering the burnt orange tiger stripe deal? Is this like a BK-4, -5, -15 discount as well?

they still have the Tiger Stripe, but the Burnt Orange is no longer available. When I emailed them and inquired about availability of the Burnt Orange they said they had some material left and they would make me a pair, but it wont be on their site any longer due to low sales/demand.
So when I get the ones for my 5 and 15 I am going to order the Tiger Stripe.

Do you have a link to TKC? ... I cant find them, 'cept sold at knife connection. All I found was Texas Knife & Collectables TKC

I wonder if they make wider than stock for a BK15,16,17

Is G10 just a fiberglass stacked cloth, rather than canvas or linen used in micarta?

I think if you google The Knife Connection you should find them (not sure if they are an approved vendor, so I dare not put a link in, I'll check)

G10 is a composite made of layers of glass cloth and epoxy resin. It has very high flex, impact and bond strength.

what I know if that the Tiger Stripe are staying and the solid orange are staying too. they just stopped the Burnt Orange. The Burnt Orange and the Tiger Stripe are 2 different colors
