I sold a few BK2’s to some LE types and they complained about the knife being top heavy and the webbing of the belt attachment being flimsy and moving around their duty belts. So I took some advice from this forum and ordered an ESEE-5 belt clip for the BK2.

After waiting a few weeks for a back order I finally got the ESEE-5 belt clips and was amazed when the holes fit perfectly with no modification needed. The rigid belt clip firmed up the feel and took away the top heavy feel of the stock sheath. The clip has a nice offset that compensates for the thick BK2 handle and it sits very comfortably on the belt. This is the simplest and easiest fix for the most common complaints about the stock sheath. Anyone can do this modification with a simple screwdriver and you will have a completely different feeling knife.

The other 2 sheaths are from Spec Ops, once again purchased because of advice from this forum. These sheaths are very well made and pack feature after feature on them with several desirable colors and two sizes available. This sheath actually fits a couple of my other knives as well. It gives you many ways to attach it to a belt, pack or military / LE gear. It also has a nice sized pouch that will hold a full sized Leatherman or similar tool. There are several ways you can adjust this sheath to fit whatever size handle you put in it to get a nice snug fit. Overall, a great sheath. Of course, this is not a sheath you would use as an EDC but then again, most people don’t carry the BK2 as an EDC. But as an all-around hiking, camping or duty sheath it is impressive.
