Through a friend of a friend I came across a cool leather pounder to take on this project. All I asked for was some color coordination with this crazy handle. So ox blood leather and Karung snakeskin sure hit the bell for me. She sent me this pic last night and I couldn't be happier. I told her to do what she does and it'll be great. I think she did a great job.

Hog Badger is one underrated blade. Probably my favorite and kick myself for not buying multiples

Dude, it so is. I passed on it at release but then when they started landing and all the great photos and rave reviews I was bitten that I had to snag one at some point. Then a fellow Hog had this on the X and I remember staring at it for a few days just driving me nutz. That's the thing about customs, beauty is some times in the eye of the beholder and this one intrigued me because it was so different. And honestly, a brother gave me one hell of a deal on it that I just couldn't say no as it would have been on the level of insulting. This will be my fancy dress accessory LOL!
Love that handle~ damn pretty.

Very nice sheath 👍

Where’s the knife pic ???? :)

I love the Hog badgers !!!!

Karung snake...very unusual leather from a rather unusual reptile...I like it.

I especially like how the snake-y shape of the inlay compliments the knife handle...cool theme!

Thanks brother~ So after talking with her we went with the Native American symbol for snake (in a loosely interpreted sense to fit the theme) and she wanted to flow with the style of the mosaic of the handle.
Yea, I had never heard of that species of snake, and I'm kind of a snake guy having had a couple Boa's in my early years. So I had to look it up and wow, that is one of the ugliest snakes I've ever seen. I told her that this fella never looks so good as being stitched into a sheath. Speaking of stitched that's all hand stitched. She's got a hardcore set of principles in her work in that she does everything by hand without machines.

duramax duramax ~ pics will come when this lands back home I promise.

Thanks G -
Yeah, this has been an adventure. On Thursday I received a bag she shipped the knife in but it was opened and no knife. Fortunately she had stuck her business card with the knife that was found at the Phoenix postal hub and someone took the time to call the name on the card. They shipped it back to her so she could try again. She got it back in the mail yesterday so we're on to attempt two to get this thing out of Az~ geez, what luck. I wouldn't want to consider counting on this type of luck a second time because this one was close to being lost forever.
