new pants on my 112

i picked up this 112 a few months back on the exchange here. i knew it was going to be a project. i took the Buck handle off and began the process. its burlap ragcarta i got from tks. i lost the blade etch because in the month it sat on my humid east texas work bench, it rusted like a sumbeech. the etch is still visible if you hold it just right.

Nice work! I like my 112 with 5160 steel, but in our area (I live about an hour away from you) it does corrode quickly!
 
Very nice. Are the blade and backspring "Blued" or is the just the picture was taken?
 
That looks AWESOME! I really like how that turned out. How much did it reduce the weight? I can see one of those in my pocket...
 
reduced the weight quite noticeably. ill get out the scale and weigh the brass handles later.
