Micarta Paring.jpgWenge Chef's.jpg

A few from my new line of O1 kitchen knives.
They're O1, edge quenched, double tempered, ~.050" at the spine, hand finished, cut like a dream, and priced cheaper than many comparable factory made. The Chef's pattern is $225 and the paring is $125.

I will also accept any custom order.

i went to your site for description and i do like those...is the dark the walnut and light the wenge..jeff

Jeff,

Thanks for your interest!

I don't have a walnut handle shown on the site. The only materials on the site photos for the chef's blades are wenge, but one is plain sawn and the other quartersawn. I'm out of the plain sawn and have no forseeable supply for the future; all wenge handles will be quartersawn in the future.

I've added some more to the original posting. I'm pretty new to this whole forum thing.

Thanks, grelcar. One's in service with a Chef de Cuisine at one of the major restaurants in Raleigh and she's thrilled with it! I was a bit worried that a modified wharncliffe might not provide good results but it just goes to show you never know until you try!
