Shot this for a special client and wanted to share. The photography proved
to have it's share of challenges. Thanks for looking.

Challenges? We'd never know because it looks so good, so clear.

Major props on the display, the knife, and the image.

The owner of this one commissioned the special mounting and the photograph which starts this thread.

The wooden frame is made from an Italian picture frame- the glass top is " museum glass", the interior is ph neutral and has a "sueded" finish

He's promised to bring a hard copy of the photo to Blade, since he's flying in and can't carry the real thing.

This dagger won "Best Damascus Knife" at Blade last year. The owner is quite fond of this knife and is happy to show it here again.

Here's a close-up of Dagger in Sheath

and Buddy's portrait of the knife.

Awesome photo and display (and knife!). Thanks for giving us a look.

I saw this knife last year I am thrilled to see it again this year. For me this is one of those knives that show what can be done when you have done your homework I really like all John's knives but this one is one of my favorites I will do my part to run up the view's count.

I love everything about this piece, but what impresses me the most is the detail and precision displayed in those clamshells. Beautiful work John.

What a nice way to display a very special piece. Thanks Mitch and Buddy for the great photos.
