I was going to do a Pocket Muk,but went with a LRK+ & a Bushcrafter instead.
I haven't done the bushcrafter yet,but got the LRK done yesterday.
I asked John to put a clip blade on this one,but he put a short curved clip in it & I didn't care for the look(sorry John) so I straightened it out & lengthened it a bit.
Carbon Fiber & Orange G10 laminate with Black linen Micarta for liners & flared SS tubes.(I loves me some orange)
I'm not done with the finish sanding as I had to leave the shop when they were closing,(got a late start)but had to show it off anyway.

Looks good! Sorry about the misunderstanding on the clip, I thought you wanted it like the one I did for pmbspyder.

Great job mykel that looks great! Like the modification on the clip too.

I haven't put a handle on mine yet, and hope it turns out half as good as that looks.

The orange and black look great, and your work with the filing made a nice pattern with the CF - nice work Mykel!

best

Love the combo of the black and the orange. Looks great!

Excellent man! I'm really enjoying the handle you put on the 'Penetrator' LRK+! Keep up the good work :)

Thanks guys & unique was what I was shooting for Todd,I've never seen a knife with CF & Orange G10 & had to give it a go.

Glad you're diggin' the "penetrator" Hugh.

Ok,I got it all sanded down & polished up,plus got the sheath & fire steel done yesterday.(luckily I had some of the handle material left over for the fire steel handle)
I bought a polishing kit from Sears that has 3 different sized buffing wheels & 4 polishing compounds made for using in a drill.
The compound for plastics works great on the CF/G10,I just chucked the wheel (med.3")in one of the drill presses at work, cranked up the speed & had at it,came out pretty nice IMO.
The sheath's black front piece is a tad bit smaller than the orange backing piece so the orange stands out a bit.
The spine/tang I hand sanded to 1200 grt,a PITA to do,but the CF warranted it me thinks.
