I just finished this one up. A collaboration between me and a customer.

This full tang damascus knife is 14-15" overall with a double grind and etched/forged finish. The handle is made of Giraffe bone scales with thin black liners and stainless steel bolts. I really like the way this piece came out, just gotta come up with a name now. Any ideas?

How about " I.D." Cause thats my id of a beautiful piece of art!!! I LOVE the hammered look on knives!!! Gives the knife soul,LOL

For some reason I was thinking along the lines of something like "Lion's Tooth" or "Tiger's Tooth" or claw. It has that real rough and ready but elegant look to it as well. Lovely piece of work. Hmmmm even something like Savanah Sun. Like the african feel/look of it.

With that antique look and the raised center line, it looks like an Italian folder I've got, of an old pattern.

How about Roman Assassin? :D

Nice looking knife. With all the bad comments about giraffe bone (not by me), it is nice to see some that looks THAT good.

I just had a brilliant idea or a brain fart... I'm not sure, J. How about "Ruffian"? Great looking knife!

really nice work. the whole layout is fantastic.

Congo gaucho is my bet :) Or the Savannah Dirk.

Fantastic work!! How 'bout "The Obelisk". That's what the spine of the blade looks like to me.
P.S. If I win the name game, do I receive one free knife? Once again, a tremendous piece of art.

J I owe you a knife and every time I think I'm getting ready to make it I see something like this. That's incredible. Thanks for making my day!

Damn, all I can see are red "x"s. :(

Will try again at home and hopefully get a chance to put my imagination to good use.
